Ledum Palustre

Splinters, external injuries cause panaritium. Extremities, felon, panaritium. Emaciation of suffering parts. Discoloration remaining in contused parts after pain and inflammation subside. Wounded parts feel cold to touch and to patient. Coldness, want of animal heat.

Silicea

Pale, cachectic appearance. Pain in left index finger as if a panaritium would form. Whitlow ; panaritium ; lancinating pains ; inflammation extends deep to tendons and cartilages and bones. Extremities, felon (Onychia, Paronychia, Panaritium, etc.), beginning in nail. 

Natrum Sulphuricum
In open air pain more bearable ; panaritium more bearable - pain in the finger is rather better out doors than in doors, the walls (where he lives) are very damp. Patient looking sickly and pale, in the morning feels weary and dull in the head, no appetite, in the evening chilly and feverish.
