Ammonium carb. is a deep-acting medicine.

Enfeeblement, weak heart, emaciation; patient must lie in bed because of the palpitation and difficult breathing on motion. In chest troubles with great prostration, the patient is worse after sleep.

It causes rapid changes in blood. 

There is  scorbutic condition.

Its fluids are all acrid (saliva, tears, stool, acrid menstrual discharge and leukorrhea, oozings from ulcer.

Bleeding of black fluid blood which does not coagulate ( bleeding may occur from nose,  uterus, bladder and bowels).

Mottled appearance of the skin; great pallor of skin, enlargement of the glands, duskiness and puffiness of the face. Skin is covered with red, mottled spots after bathing. Nose-bleed from bathing. Palpitation is worse from bathing.

Violent audible palpitation, worse by every motion, there is great prostration.

Exhaustion at every menstrual period. An attack of copious diarrhea, coming the first day of the menses.

Asthma:in the warm room dyspnoea increases as if he would die for want of breath, compelled to go out into the cold air for relief. Warm room increases the dyspnoea but bodily state of the patient is worse from cold, complaints of the body and the headaches are worse from cold.

Aching in the bones as if they would break, teeth pain violently from every change of weather, from change of the temperature in the mouth. Aching in  jaws and roots of the teeth.

Falling out of the hair, finger nails become yellowish, gums settle away from the teeth and bleed, teeth become loose.

Depression weeps much, fainting fits, anxiety, uneasiness and exhaustion from motion. Complaints from listening to others talking. Complaints worse in the wet weather, and she is sensitive to cold,  wet weather.

Nose-bleed when washing face or hands in morning.

Menses too soon,  menstrual blood is blackish, often in clots, blood is acrid;  leucorrhoea is acrid;

Violent tearing in abdomen and vagina. Irritation of clitoris, swelling of the genitals; a sensation of soreness in the whole pelvic viscera; as if all her inner parts were raw; a sensation of soreness; not always sore to touch; deep-seated soreness is especially felt during menstruation. Menses premature, abundant, blackish, often in clots, preceded by griping and colic

Cough, with much rattling of mucus in the chest and air passages, oppression of breathing, mucus is difficult to expel; great rattling in the chest and great weakness, great coldness, prostration and weakness in the chest.

Cough in old people at three o'clock in the morning with the palpitation and prostration, waking up at that hour with cold sweat and dyspnoea, almost pulseless; weakness of the heart, face pale and cold.

Dislikes walking in open air, worse in cold air; children dislike washing, warmth of the bed relieves the rheumatic pains, relieves the chill, headache is better in a warm room; from washing reappearance of the nose-bleed; blue hands; swollen veins.

Body red as if covered with scarlatina, putrid flat ulcers; scarlatina with somnolence, starting from sleep.
