PULSATILLA PRATENSIS

PULSATILLA is called the weather-cock among remedies. औषधियों में वायु-दिशा-दर्शक।

Especially adapted to females, with blue eyes, very affectionate, easily excited to tears and and of a very yielding disposition.स्त्रियां , नीली आँखें अति स्नेही अत्यंत आसानी से आँखों में आंसू और अति विनम्र 

The forms of her symptoms are very changeable; she is very well one hour, and very miserable the next. लक्षण अति परिवर्तनशील अभी ठीक थी किन्तु जरा सी देर में अत्यधिक तकलीफ़  में 

The disposition (natural qualities of a person’s character स्‍वभाव, मिज़ाज) and mental state are the chief guiding symptoms to the selection of Pulsatilla.  पल्सेटिला के चुनाव में  रोगीका स्‍वभाव-मिज़ाज एवं मानसिक भाव ओर अवस्थायें म्रुख्य मार्गदर्शक  लक्षण होते हैं! 

It is pre-eminently a female remedy, especially for mild, gentle, yielding disposition. यह मुख़्य रूप से स्त्री -रोगों की ओषधि है, खासकर कोमल, विनीत, सरलता से झुक  जाने वाली प्रकृति की स्त्रियाँ (अर्थात PULSATILLA की  रोगिणी का स्वभाव अड़ियल नहीं होता) - PULSATILLA की प्रकृति वाली स्त्रियाँ परिवारीजनों की बात सहजता से मान लेतीं हैं कलह नहीं करतीं |

 

 Sad, crying readily; weeps when talking; changeable, contradictory. उदास जल्द रो दे; बात करते समय रोने लगे ; परिवर्त्ततशील विरोधाभासी ,

The patient seeks the open air; always feels better there, even though he is chilly.  रोगी खुली हवा में जाता है, उसे वहाँ अच्छा मालुम होता है, यद्यपि उसे खुली हवा में ठंढक महसूस होती है फिरभी वह खुली हवा में रहना पसंद करता है।  

 

Mucous membranes are all affected. शरीरकी लगभग सभी श्लेष्मिक झिल्लियाँ रोगसे प्रभावित हो जाती हैं। 

Discharges thick, bland, and yellowish-green. शरीरसे निकलने वाले स्राव, गाढ़े , मृदु  और पीलापन लिये हरे  रंगके होते हैं ।

Often indicated after abuse of Iron tonics, and after badly-managed measles. आइरनकी गोलियां, आयरनयुक्त टॉनिक के प्रयोग के फलस्वरूप रोगीमें प्रायः Pulsatilla के लक्षण मिलते हैं, तथा measles नामक बीमारी का समुचित इलाज न हो पाने पर भी रोगीमें प्रायः  Pulsatilla के लक्षण मिलते हैं

Symptoms ever changing. लक्षण बराबर बदलते रहते हैं

Thirstless, peevish, and chilly. रोगीमें प्यासहीनता व  चिंड़चिड़ापन का होना और ठंढक महसूस  करना। 

When first serious impairment of health is referred to the age of puberty (Puberty is the time in life when a boy or girl becomes sexually mature). जब बचपन की अवस्था से युवाकाल की अवस्था में शरीर जा रहा था - उस समय से अपने  स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ने का सम्बन्ध रोगी बतावे तो लक्षण मिलने पर  Pulsatilla उपयोगी है.

Great sensitiveness. अति संवेदनशीलता 

Wants the head high.सिर ऊँचा करके रखना चाहे

Feels uncomfortable with only one pillow. एक तकिये से असुविधा।

Lies with hands above head. हाथों को सिर के ऊपर  करके लेटे | 

Useful for gouty symptoms caused by indigestion (Lyc.).अपचन के कारण से उत्पन्न गठिया वात 

Mind.--

 Weeps easily. PULSATILLA का रोगी बड़ी आसानी से रो देता है  

Timid,अर्थात  easily frightened; shy and nervous जल्‍दी डर जाने वाला, भीरु; संकोची और जल्‍दी घबरा जाने वाला स्वभाव;

 irresolute (showing or feeling hesitancy; uncertain अनिर्णय की स्थिति, हिचकिचाहट).

Fears in the evening to be alone, dark, ghost. शाम को अकेले रहने में डर लगता है भय, अन्धेरे में डर लगता है, भूत- प्रेत का भय लगता है|

Likes sympathy. सहानुभूति, ढांढस बंधाना  पसन्द करता है।

Children like fuss and caresses.बच्चे खिलवाड़ ओर दुलराना पसन्द करते हैं।

Easily discouraged मामूली बात  से हतोत्साहित हो जाता है.. 

Morbid dread of the opposite sex. विपरीत लिंग के लोगों से अनुचित अकारण  भय महसूस करना। 

Religious melancholy.धार्मिक विषाद| 

Given to extremes of pleasure and pain.सुख ओर दुःख की चरम सीमा के अंतर्गत अदला बदली अर्थात  कभी अत्यधिक दुःखी और कभी बहुत आनन्द महसूस  करना।

Highly emotional. अति भावुक|

Mentally, an April day. मानसिक अस्थिरता।

Head.--

Wandering stitches about head; pains extend to face and teeth; vertigo; better in open air. सिर में भ्रमण शील चिलकन; सिर के दर्द जो चेहरे ओर दांतों  तक फैलते हैं;  चक्करआता है; रोगी को खुली हवा में राहत मिलती है |

Frontal and supra-orbital pains. सिर के अगले भाग में और आँखों के घेरों के ऊपर दर्द | 

Neuralgic pains, commencing in right temporal region, with scalding lachrymation of affected side. स्नायुशल, दाहिनी कनपटी से शुरू होते हैं , उसी तरफ की आँख से गर्म आँसू आते हैं। 

Headache from overwork. अधिक परिश्रम से सर  दर्द हो |

Pressure on vertex. सिर के ऊपरी भाग  पर दबाव महसूस होना। 

Ears.--

Sensation as if something were being forced outward. ऐसा लगता है मानो कोई चीज कान के अन्दर से बाहर को ठेली  जा रही हो ।

Hearing difficult, as if the ear were stuffed. ऊँचा सुनता है - सुनाने में दिक्कत  मानों कान में  कुछ ठूंस दिया गया हो|

Otorrhœa. Thick, bland discharge; offensive odor. कान बहना - गाढ़ा  बदबूदार स्राव जो शरीर  के किसी भाग के संपर्क में आने पर जलन  या अन्य कोई तकलीफ पैदा नहीं करता। 

External ear swollen and red. बाहरी कान लाल सूजा हुआ|

Catarrhal otitis. नजले के कारण  कर्ण प्रदाह।

Otalgia, worse at night. कर्ण शूल जो  रात में बढ़े।

Diminishes acuteness of hearing. सुनने की तीब्रता कम हो जाती  है |.

Eyes.--

Thick, profuse, yellow, bland discharges. अधिक मात्रामें गाढ़ा  पीला  मन्द अनुत्तेजक स्राव | 

Itching and burning in eyes. आँखों में खुजली और जलन | 

Profuse lachrymation and secretion of mucus. अधिक मात्रामे आँसू एवं  और श्लेष्मिक स्राव। 

Lids inflamed, agglutinated.पलक सूजे, चिपके हुए।

 Styes.  बिलनी,

Veins of fundus oculi greatly enlarged. नेत्र छिद्र की शिरायें बहुत बढ़ी फूली  हुई । 

Ophthalmia neonatorum. नवजात शिशु  का नेन्नप्रदाइ |

Subacute conjunctivitis, with dyspepsia; worse, in warm room.मन्द नेत्रप्रदाह, मन्दाग्नि के साथ, गरम कमरे में अधिक तकलीफ़। 

Nose.--

Coryza; stoppage of right nostril, pressing pain at root of nose. जुकाम, दाहिनी नथना बन्द, नाक की जड़ पर दबाव |

Loss of smell.  सूँघने की शक्ति का  लोप।

Large green fetid scales in nose. नाक के भीतर हरे रंग की बदबूदार बड़ी बड़ी खुरण्ड, पपड़ी |

Stoppage in evening.  शाम को नाक बन्द हो जाती है | 

Yellow mucus; abundant in morning.नाक से  पीला श्लेष्मा,जो सुबह अधिक मात्रा में निकलता है  | 

Bad smells, as of old catarrh. नाक से दुर्गन्ध आती है  ; जेसा पुराने जुकाम में होता है।

Nasal bones sore. नाक की हड्डियां दुखती हैं विशेषतः छुए जाने पर। 

Face.--

Right-sided neuralgia, with profuse lachrymation. चेहरे का दाहिनी तरफ का स्नायु-शूल, साथ साथ अधिक मात्रा में आँसू भी निकलते हैं ।

Swelling of lower lip, which is cracked in middle.नीचे के होंठ में सूजन जो मध्य में चिटक जाता है।  

Prosopalgia towards evening till midnight; chilly, with pain. चेहरे का दर्द साम का  समय निकट आने पर शुरू होकर मध्य रात्रि तक रहता है , दर्द  के साथ शीत-का अनुभव  | 

Mouth.--

Greasy taste. चिपचिपा स्वाद

Dry mouth, without thirst; wants it washed frequently. मुँह सूखा हुआ किन्तु प्यास का न होना; घड़ी-घड़ी धोना चाहता है। 

Frequently licks the dry lips. सूख होठों को अक्सर चाटता है. 

Crack in middle of lower lip. निचले होंठ के बीच में चिटकन होती है। 

Yellow or white tongue, covered with a tenacious mucus. पीली  या सफेद जबान जिस पर अत्यधिक चिपकने वाला  श्लेष्मा हो |

Toothache; relieved by holding cold water in mouth (Coff). दाँत दर्द , मुँह में ठंडा पानी रखने से कम हो जाता है|  

Offensive odor from mouth (Merc; Aur).  मुह से दुर्गन्ध आना। 

Food, especially bread, tastes bitter. खाना, खासकर रोटी कड़वी लगती है।

Much sweet saliva. अधिक मात्रा में मिठास युक्त लार।

Alternations of taste, bitter, bilious, greasy, salty, foul. स्थाद परिवतंनशील, कड़वा; पित्त का जैसा, ग्रीज जैसा, नमकीन; धृणित | 

Loss of taste. स्वाद न महसूस कर पाना 

Desire for tonics.  शक्तिदायक टॉनिककी इच्छा |

Stomach.--

Averse to fat food, warm food, and drink. वसायुक्त भोजन से अरुचि,  गर्म भोजन एवं गर्म पेय  से अरुचि।

Eructations; taste of food remains a long time; after ices, fruits, pasty. डकार, खाने का स्वाद देर तक रहता है ; बरफ, फल, पेस्ट्री  खाने के बाद स्वाद देर तक रहता है.

Bitter taste, diminished taste of all food. मुंह में कड़वा स्वाद; सभी चीजों  का स्वाद कम भालूम पड़ता है।

Pain as from subcutaneous ulceration. छिछले  चर्म घाव की तरह दर्द,

Flatulence. अफरा, उदर में बननेवाली वायु (बेचैन करनेवाली अनुभूति); पेट की गैस, उदर वायु। 

Dislikes butter (Sang). मक्खन से घृणा |

Heartburn. गले में  जलन|

Dyspepsia, with great tightness after a meal; must loosen clothing.  मन्दाग्नि, खाने के बाद कसाव, कपड़ा ढीला करना पड़ता है|

Thirstlessness, with nearly all complaints. सभी रोगों के साथ प्रायः प्यास का अभाव |

Vomiting of food eaten long before. खाने के बहुत देर बाद उसीका वमन |

Pain in stomach an hour after eating (Nux). खाने के एक घण्टे बाद  पेट में दर्द| 

Weight as from a stone, especially in morning on awakening. पेट में बोझ जैसे पत्थर से हो, खासकर प्रातः  जागने पर |

Gnawing, hungry feeling (Abies c). कुतरन, भूखापन |

Perceptible pulsation in pit of stomach (Asaf). पेट के गढ़े में ट्पकन मालूम होती है।

All-gone sensation, especially in tea drinkers.  कमजोरी (a feeling of faintness or weakness), खासकर चाय पीने वालों में ।

Waterbrash, with foul taste in the morning.प्रातः एकाएक लार  बहाना (a sudden flow of saliva associated with indigestion) घृणित  स्वाद के साथ |

Abdomen.--

Painful, distended; loud rumbling. पेट  में दर्द , गैस से फूला  हुआ तेज गड़गड़ाहट |

Pressure as from a stone. पेट में दबाव बोझ जैसे पत्थर से हो

Colic, with chilliness in evening.पेट दर्द शाम को शीत के साथ होता है।

Stool.--

Rumbling, watery; worse, night पानी-जैसा दस्त गड़गढ़ाहट के साथ, यह तकलीफ  रात में अधिक होती है 

No two stools alike.कभी दो पाखाने एक तरह के न हों

After fruit (Ars; Chin).  फल खाने के बाद दस्त

Blind hæmorrhoids, with itching and sticking pains.  बादी बवासीर, खुजली और चुभन दर्द  के साथ ।

Dysentery; mucus and blood, with chilliness (Merc; Rheum). पेचिश, श्क्षेष्मा ओर खून, शीत के साथ

Two or three normal stools daily.रोजाना दो या तीन बार सामान्य साधारण पाखाना।

Urine.--

Increased desire; worse when lying down. अधिक वेग; लेटने से अधिक हो |

Burning in orifice of urethra during and after micturition. पेशाब नली के द्वार   में जलन पेशाब, करते समय और बाद में भी 

Involuntary micturition at night, while coughing or passing flatus. रात में खाँसते या वायु विसर्जन  के समय पेशाब निकल जाना।

After urinating, spasmodic pain in the bladder. मूत्र त्यागने के बाद मूत्राशय में अनियंत्रित ऐंठन जैसा दर्द।  

Female.--

Amenorrhœa (Cimicif; Senec; Polygon). मासिक धर्म का अप्राकृतिक रुकना

Suppressed menses from wet feet, nervous debility, or chlorosis. पैर मींगने से, कमजारी से, या रक्तहीनता से मासिक घर्म का दब जाना |

Tardy menses.  मन्द खाव | 

Too late, scanty, thick, dark, clotted, changeable, intermittent.  मासिक धर्म अत्यधिक देर से, कम  मात्रा में , गाढ़ा , गहरे रंग का , थक्का युक्त , परिवर्तनशील , रुक रुक कर होना 

Chilliness, nausea, downward pressure, painful, flow intermits. शीत, मिचली, घँसन अर्थात नीचे की ओर को दबाव, दर्द,   स्राव  रुक-रुक कर आता है| 

Leucorrhœa acrid, burning, creamy. तेजाबी प्रदर , जलन पैदा करने वाला, क्रीम जेसा। 

Pain in back; tired feeling. पीठ में दर्द , थकावट | 

Diarrhœa during or after menses. मासिक घर्म के समय या बाद में दस्त। 

Male.--

Orchitis; pain from abdomen to testicles. अण्ड प्रदाह; उदर से अण्ड तक दर्द 

Thick, yellow discharge from urethra; late stage of gonorrhœa. मूत्रमाग से गाढ़ा पीला स्राव, सुजाक की पुरानी अवस्था

Stricture; urine passed only in drops, and stream interrupted (Clemat). मून्रमार्ग का बन्द होना सँकरा  हो जाना, केवल बूँद-बूँद टपके, घार रुक-रुक कर |

Acute prostatitis. मृत्राशय ग्रंथि का तीव्र प्रदाह । 

Pain and tenesmus in urinating, worse lying on back.पेशाब करते समय दर्द  और ऐंठन, पीठ के बल लेटने से तकलीफ अधिक होती है। 

Respiratory.--

Capricious hoarseness; comes and goes. अनियमित स्वरभंग, बिना उम्मीद के स्वरभंग । असामयिक, कुछ देर के लिए आवाज भारी हो, फिर गायब हो जावे | 

Dry cough in evening and at night; must sit up in bed to get relief; and loose cough in the morning, with copious mucous expectoration. 

Pressure upon the chest and soreness. शाम को ओर रात में सुखी खाँसी, आराम पाने के लिए बिस्तर पर उठ बेठना पड़े और प्रातः ढीली खांसी  अधिक मात्रा में बलगम निकले | 

Great soreness of epigastrium. सीने पर अधिजठर की जगह  छूने से बहुत  दर्द | 

Urine emitted with cough (Caust).खाँसी के साथ पेशाब निकल पड़े |

Pain as from ulcer in middle of chest. सीने के बीच में घाव की तरह दर्द  

Expectoration bland, thick, bitter, greenish. बलगम सादा, गाढ़ा, कड़वा, हरापन लिये |

Short breath, anxiety, and palpitation when lying on left side (Phos). छोटी साँस; आकुलता ओर बार्यी तरफ लेटने से दिल की  धड़कन तेज |

Smothering sensation on lying down. लेटने पर दम घुटना 

Sleep.--

Wide awake in the evening; first sleep restless. शाम को जागना, पहली नींद अशान्त |

Wakes languid, unrefreshed.  जागने पर थकावट और अप्रफुल्लित |

Irresistible sleepiness in the afternoon. तीसरे पहर नींद रोकी न जा सके |

Sleeps with hands over head. - हाथ को सिर के ऊपर  करके सोए । 

Back.--

Shooting pain in the nape and back, between shoulders; in sacrum after sitting. गर्दन का पिछला भाग, गर्दन की जड़, पीठ और कंधों के बीच में तेज चमकन जैसा दर्द,; बैठने के बाद त्रिकास्थि में दर्द। 

Extremities.--

Drawing, tensive pain in thighs and legs, with restlessness, sleeplessness and chilliness.बेचैनी अनिद्रा और शीत के साथ जाँघों और टाँगों में खींचन, तनाव जैसा दर्द| 

Pain in limbs, shifting rapidly; tensive pain, letting up with a snap. अंगों में दर्द, तेजी से जगह बदले, तनाव के साथ दर्द झटके के साथ ऊपर की ओर चढ़े ।  Numbness around elbow. कुहनी के चारों तरफ सुन्न होना

Hip-joint painful. कटि-संधि में दर्द

Knees swollen, with tearing, drawing pains. घुटने सूजे हुए, फटन, खींचन जैसे दर्द  के साथ

Boring pain in heels toward evening; suffering worse from letting the affected limb hang down (Vipera). शाम के निकट एड़ी में दर्द ; रोगग्रस्त अंग नीचे लटकाने से कष्ट बढ़े

Veins in forearms and hands swollen. अगली बाँहों और हार्थों की शिरायें फूली हुईं

Feet red, inflamed, swollen. पैर लाल, सूजे, फूले हुए

Legs feel heavy and weary. टाँगें थकी और भारी

Skin.--

Urticaria, after rich food, with diarrhœa, from delayed menses, worse undressing. मसालेदार भोजन के बाद, दस्त के साथ जुलपित्ती, मासिक धर्म में देर होने से जुलपित्ती, कपड़ा उतारते समय जुलपित्ती।

Measles. छोटी चेचक

Acne at puberty. युवाकाल में मुहासे

Varicose veins.नसों का फूलना

Fever.--

Chilliness, even in warm room, without thirst.  शीत गरम कमर में भी- बिना प्यास

Chilly with pains, in spots, worse evening. सीमित स्थानों में, दर्द के साथ शीत, शाम को अधिक हों 

Chill about 4 pm. ४ बज शाम शीत

Intolerable burning heat at night, with distended veins; heat in parts of body, coldness in other. रात में असहनीय  जलन; गरमी फूली हुई  शिराओं के साथ, शरीर में कुछ  स्थानों में गरमी छगना; दूसरों में ठंडक

One-sided sweat; pains during sweat. एक तरफ का पसीना; पसीना के समथ दर्द  

External heat is intolerable, veins are distended. बाहरी गरमी असह्य, शिरायें फूली हुई

During apyrexia, headache, diarrhœa, loss of appetite, nausea.ज्वर उतरने के समय सिर दर्द , दस्त, अरुचि,  मिचली

Modalities.--

Worse, 

from heat गरम से,

rich fat food गरिष्ट, चर्बीलि भोजन से, 

after eating, खाने के बाद

towards evening, शाम के लगभग

warm room, गरम कमरे  में

lying on left or on painless side बाई तरफ या बिना दर्द  वाली करवट लेटने से

when allowing feet to hang down. पैर लटकाने से 

Better, 

open air, खुली हवा में

motion, हिलने डुलने हरकत से 

cold applications, ठण्ड प्रयोग से

cold food and drinks, though not thirsty. ठंडे भोजन से और  ठंडे  पेय से, यद्यपि प्यास नहीं  है।
