KALIUM NITRICUM:

Polyuria,  urine  clear  as  water.

Headache  and  diarrhea  after eating  vea.

Mouth  slimy,  with  fetid  breath,  good  appetite,  especially  in the  evening.

Stool  hard,  like  sheep's  dung,  with  tenesmus.

Sensation  as  if parts  or  whole  body  were  made  of  wood.

Aggravation from the warmth  of the stove  and during  wet  cold  weather.

Rheumatism.

Incontinence of urine in children. 

It is almost equal to K. ca. in producing stitching pains.

It is like K. ca. in having a cough at 3 a.m. 

The pains produced by K. n. are very severe: stitching, cutting, lancinating, tearing, and pressing. 

Much external sensitiveness of scalp; of abdomen; of testes. 

Diabetes insipidus.

Enuresis. 

Most painful colics, diarrhœa, and dysentery.

In the male sexual sphere, excitement and pain in testes and cords.

In the female, menorrhagia with flow of ink-like blackness. 

Aggravation from eating veal, or effects of eating it such as headache, diarrhœa, &c. 

The mental state of K. n. is chiefly one of peevishness, fretfulness, and ennui. 

In the nose: The pain-like contraction in the eyes, forehead, and face concentrates in the tip of the nose.

Swollen feeling in right nostril, which is painful on pressure, sore pain in upper part of right nostril with external sensitiveness (nasal polypus). 

Intense vertigo with tinnitus (Menière's disease). 

Easy intoxication by wine or beer.

Sour taste in the throat. 

The breathlessness is so great that the patient though thirsty can only drink a sip at a time between the breaths. 

Asthma with excessive dyspnœa, faintness and nausea, with dull stitches or with burning pain in chest, rather free expectoration. 

Ascarides in adults. 

Severe herpes facialis involving right eyebrow and right side of nose.

Aggravation from a slight draught of air (headache). 

Aggravation after washing in cold water (eye). 

Aggravation 3 a.m. (cough). 

Aggravation lying with head low (dyspnœa).

Aggravation in morning; in afternoon; in evening; after midnight. 

Walking aggravates many symptoms, aggravates  breathing.

Aggravation  by coffee.

Amelioration on lying down.

Amelioration from lying on the right side.

Uncovering head ameliorates (pain in parietal region).
