Glycosuria अर्थात पेशाब में सुगर आना,  Diabetes की बीमारी, कभी ठीक नहीं होती, ऐसा विश्वास किया जाता है, किन्तु यह निराधार तथा भ्रामक है, और सत्य नहीं है

When to use PODOPHYLLUM in Glycosuria:

PODOPHYLLUM — Chalky  stools.

Profuse  and  frequent  micturition  immediately after  drinking.

Excessive  hepatic  action.

Hot,  sour  flatus.

आइये जाने medicine PODOPHYLLUM के कुछ अन्य महत्वपूर्ण लक्षण

PODOPHYLLUM PELTATUM Diarrhea, colicky pains, morning stool ( Sulphur, Dioscorea, Bryonia, Natrum Sulph) pouring out like water from a hydrant, preceded by retching and vomiting and spasmodic contraction of the stomach, making the child scream out .

The stools are renewed immediately by eating (China, Argentum Nitriciim, Croton Tiglium, etc).

Thirst for large quantities of cold water. Intense desire to press the gums together.

The liver is swollen and sensitive, and friction over the right hypochondrium relieves this sensation. 

The face and sclerotica become tinged yellow. 

There is bad taste in the mouth, evidently arising from the degeneration of food in the intestinal tract. 

The tongue is coated yellow or white, and takes the imprint of the teeth. 

Gall-stones, bilious colic ; stools are constipated and clay-colored, showing the absence of bile.

Constipation of bottle-fed babies.Stools are dry and crumbling (Alumina, Opium and Magnesia Mur). 

Tongue takes the imprint of the teeth (Mercurius, Podophyllum, Yucca Filamentosa, Rhus Tox, Stramonium Arsenicum Metallicum). 

Prolapsus recti with the diarrhea. 

The rectum protrudes before stool {Nux Vom. after stool}, especially in the morning. 

Prolapsus of the uterus, with the attendant symptoms of bearing down in the hypogastric and sacral regions, worse from motion; neuralgia in the right ovary, extending down the anterior crural nerve, backache, retarded menses; thick transparent leucorrhoea and often co-existing with these, prolapsus recti ( Nux Vomica, Sepia).

Tonsillitis, apt to start on the right side and extend to the left, like Lycopodium. Great dryness of the throat, aggravation from swallowing liquids and in the morning, with pain going into the ear. 

Dentition.Moaning and whining during sleep—not crying out with a sharp, sudden noise, as under Belladonna, but a sick cry ; the child grates its teeth ; the head is thrown back and rolled from side to side. Diarrhea whilst being bathed or washed; of dirty water soaking through napkin; with gagging.

Bilious remittent fever. During the fever the patient is sleepy and sometimes delirious.Great loquacity during chill and heat.

Complaints of pregnant and parturient women, with sensation as if intestines were falling down.

Whooping-cough with costiveness and loss of appetite.
